Amateur participants must be full members in good standing of a golf club. Teams can be made up of amateurs from multiple clubs but the TEAM can only represent one Club - preferably the Club where the PGA Professional resides.
Participants must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the tournament and should be in possession of a current official handicap.
Players 16 years of age may enter provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who is either a team player or chaperone at their own cost.
The Handicap Index limit is 24 for men and 36 for ladies before slope rating at each course.
All players will be expected to compete off the full handicap as recorded on the first day of the tournament as per the handicap registered with their home Club. Your Handicap Index will be adjusted according to the slope rating of each course by the PGA Tournament Technical Director.
The handicap verification form must be filled in and signed by the relevant person from the competing Club as of 02 July 2020. All handicap forms are to be provided by the TEAM Captain (who is the PGA Professional) at the official tournament registration at the event.
Failure to submit forms will result in an automatic 2-shot deduction off the player’s handicap index for the duration of the tournament.
All players are to play off the course slope rated handicap supplied by the Tournament Director on the scorecard. The tournament committee reserves the right to reduce a player's handicap based on performance.
