Courses Under Evaluation

In conjunction with the Confederation of Professional Golf, the tournament organisers and logistics partners will undertake an inspection tour and the 2 additional courses will be announced by 31 March 2020.

Sea Pines Golf Club

Sea Pines Golf Course plays along the Gulf of Thailand. The course layout has been developed to provide golfers with a wide variety of challenges. Depending on wind conditions, the course can play from relatively easy to very difficult. The course design includes six holes lying on the beachside and the balance of the holes lie towards the mountains divided by a railroad.

Palm Hills Golf Resort & Country Club

Laid out on a long strip of undulating terrain which gives the holes a ‘links’ feel, which is different from all other layouts in the area. The Max Wexler design goes from east to west, with lakes at each end, separated by the clubhouse and an interesting rocky outcrop extending from the mountains.

Springfield Royal Country

utilized in the 2019 tournament and highly rated by all players – a strong contender for 2020.

Designed to meet the high demands of a recognized championship golf course, and yet it remains an enjoyable. Water hazards periodically come into play, and presenting challenge and character requirements of finesse or unrestraint. The rough comprises of a series of hillocks and holes lined by a forest of mature trees.

Majestic Creek Country Club

Arguably the best laid out & challenging course in the area, surrounded by natural scenery and the nearby mountains supply water that forms a maze of streams winding around the course, which have been carefully preserved as natural hazards, which makes for some tricky shots over the water.
